About Us

Suncoast Academy of Dance has been dancing in Palm Harbor, Florida for over 30 years. We are one of the most established dance studios in Pinellas County. We offer professional dance instruction to children as young as 3. Our dance classes are for beginners up to advanced. We offer dance lessons each afternoon and evening Monday through Thursday. Our Saturday dance classes are in the morning and early afternoon. We also offer dance classes to preschool dancers a few weekday mornings.

Summer Program

Each summer we offer a variety of dance classes, special programs, and dance intensives. Our summer schedule is available approximately six weeks before the end of Pinellas County Schools academic year. For more information about our summer program click here.

Bodyfit Boutique

On site is The Bodyfit Boutique, offering a complete line of dancewear and footwear for all of your dancer's needs. The Bodyfit Boutique carries dance clothing, shoes, and accessories from the leading manufacturers including Capezio, Bloch, Motionwear, Danskin, and more.

Suncoast Staff

Our administrative staff is comprised of John Sykes, Kathy Lowe, and Karolyn Stine. John is Ms. April's husband as well as the voice for our annual dance recital. Karolyn has been dancing at Suncoast for many years and is a student at Countryside High.They are always available if you have any questions or concerns.

Suncoast Events

Suncoast has several events throughout the dance year. Each semester we invite parents, grandparents, and other very important people to observe their dancer's class(es) during 'observation week'. At Halloween, our dancers enjoy the opportunity to dress up for their classes the week prior to Halloween.

Dance With Us

Our dancers travel from many different areas throughout the Tampa Bay area including Tampa, Westchase, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Crystal Beach, Holiday, New Port Richey, Trinity, Ozona, and Sarasota.
